A New Design

I am thrilled to be able to publish one more design before our big move. Spring Garden was designed specially to fit in a standard 5 X 7 frame or mat. I know how very expensive framing can be and I am trying to make as many of my framed designs fit into standard frames as I possibly can. Some of them just refuse to be standard, though. :-) It is a perfect design for someone who would like to begin working with specialty stitches. Don't let the name "specialty stitches" scare you. They come up in one hole and down in another just like a cross stitch. The length and direction just vary. You CAN do them! It is worked with satin stitches, backstitching, and a few small eyelets. More experienced specialty stitchers will enjoy it with ease.  It is on sale in my shop now and will be in stores soon.

Speaking of the move, I will not be processing orders from August 17th through August 30th. Either get your orders in soon or wait until after the 30th. For a good portion of that time my office will be packed away into boxes and traveling from Minnesota to South Carolina. Then I have to find it all and set it up again. Ugh.....

I am just one row away from finishing a new white work band sampler. This one is much larger and will be in the intermediate level. It looks like it will end up being close to 11 X 14 inches.  It uses a lot of stitches and I think it will take several weeks to chart. For those of you who have been wanting a bigger more involved piece, it is on its way!
